The MultiCleaner ROV builds on a concept originally developed by Robert Andersen, who for more than two decades dedicated his work to creating safer and more effective hull cleaning methods.
The ROV technology and concept were later acquired by Trosvik Oceantech, which has continued to develop and refine it further. By combining Trosvik Group’s engineering expertise, mechanical experience, and patented technology designed to prevent the translocation of alien species, the company has taken the MultiCleaner ROV to a new level of environmental performance.
Robert Andersen remains an important contributor to this day, serving as a valued consultant and technical advisor to both Trosvik Oceantech and the Trosvik Group.
